The 2026 Mazda CX-50 is also available with a plug-in hybrid unit. This system mates a four-cylinder engine with three electric motors to produce 219 horsepower. All-wheel drive is standard for every trim level.

Appearance

The Mazda CX-30 has a sporty look, a swooping hood, and a strongly raked rear. The sides are styled with angled, smooth contouring and subtly flared haunches. The lower door panels have a thick molding band, which rounds over the wheel wells and lines the bumpers. At the front, the small grille is underlined by a thin chrome band. This band curves upward to integrate with the narrow, pointed LED headlights.

The Mazda CX-50 is larger and has a modestly squared-off front end. The haunches and wheel wells are also squared off on the sides, and the smooth door panels offer contrast. Like the Mazda CX-30, the Mazda CX-50 is lined with dark body molding. The U-shaped grille is wider than the Mazda CX-30's, and links to small LED headlights.
